Please join our school community in offering our deepest condolences and prayers to Peggy and Joe Sullivan who lost their 42 year old son, Brad to a sudden heart attack this past weekend. Many of you know Peggy as our School Nurse. As a mother, Peggy’s life revolved around her three children, in-laws and grandchildren. Needless to say, the family is shocked by this sudden loss.
I have enclosed the obituary information for those of you who would like to pay your respects to the Sullivan family. You may also send cards and prayers to the attention of Presentation of Mary Academy.
I am grateful to Nurse Bernadette who has been available to take over the office while Peggy takes some time to be with her family.
Joseph “Brad” Sullivan, Jr., 42, longtime resident of Amherst, NH, died on February 7, 2015 at his home. He was born in Medford, MA on June 28, 1972, a son of Joseph B. Sullivan, Sr. and Margaret B. (Walsh) Sullivan. Brad was raised and educated in Amherst and earned his Associate’s Degree in Forestry from Paul Smith’s College in New York. He was self-employed and worked extremely hard in the logging industry for more than 20 years. When he wasn’t working, Brad enjoyed snowmobiling, skiing, riding his Harley and playing with his German Shepherds. Brad was a communicant of St. Patrick’s Church in Milford and had served as an altar boy. He was a loving son, devoted brother, uncle and nephew who most especially enjoyed spending time with his family. In addition to his parents of Wilton, NH, family members include a sister and brother-in-law, Maryjo and John Greene of Bedford, NH; a brother and sister-in-law, Sean and Susan Sullivan of Portsmouth, NH; his fiancé, Jodi Webster of Amherst, NH; five nieces and nephews, Liam, Timothy and Sean Greene, Kylie and Shea Sullivan; several aunts, uncles and cousins.. A mass of Christian burial will be celebrated on Friday at 10:00 am in St. Patrick’s Church, 34 Amherst Street, Milford. Burial will be in the spring.
A dance for the Junior High students (gr. 6-8) will be held this Friday night. The dance will be at St. Kathryn’s in Hudson from 7 pm-9:30 pm. The band Even Split will be performing!
March lunch orders are due by Friday, February 13, 2015.
When ordering please remember the following:
*Class Code and House (for Jr. high students only) is VERY important. Your child’s order will not show up on the classroom reports if you skip this step.
*When you complete your child’s order please make a note to remind yourself. We have had multiple students with double orders.
*If you make an error and want to change an order that was submitted, you must re-enter to entire order. Simply start over and enter your child’s name EXACTLY as you entered it the first time (the system is case sensitive, capital and lower case letters matter!). This will override the first order. To avoid this be sure to review the order while you are still on the ordering calendar.
*Please be prompt in sending in your payment.
