5.29.2015 Girl Scout Donations needed!

Dear Parents and Students,

Charlotte Bell{4JD} and I, Maria Crivac{5KD} are working on a Bronze Award for Girl Scouts. We are having a donation drive during morning carline beginning Monday, June 1st through Friday, June 5th and we need your help and support.

We will be asking for gently used flower pots in all sizes, new potting soil, and starter seeds.  We have decided to volunteer to plant flowers with the residents at Fairview Nursing Home.   We will help the residents plant their own personal plants and decorate pots so they can have their own little garden in their rooms. We have already spoken with the activities director at Fairview nursing home, Carolyn Beaulieu, she happily agreed to help us achieve our Bronze Award.

Please consider helping us achieve our goal.

  • Grades prek-1 (soil)
  • Grades 2 -5(pots)
  • Grades 6- 8 (seeds or plants)
  • All grades are welcome to send in cash donations.

All donations may be sent in or dropped off during car line beginning on Monday, June 1st.

Thank you for anything you can do to help us achieve our BRONZE MEDAL.

5.20.2015 Thanks A Billion

Starting May 14, 2015 Target is inviting everyone to show appreciation for their teachers by participating in their “Thanks a Billion” campaign. To show gratitude for a teacher who has had an impact on your life, you can visit Target’s Facebook page — when you share a ‘Thank You” message, Target will give $25 to a school of your choice, until Target gives away $5 million to schools! Target will donate $25 to the teacher’s school with the opportunity for each school to receive up to $25,000. Target knows it’s essential for principals and teachers to have the right resources to help their students learn and grow. Help PMA raise money by sending a message to your favorite teacher. The message has to be 140 characters or less and takes less than 30 seconds to do. Help PMA raise $25,000 toward the car line canopy!
