1.29.16 March lunch orders due February 12

March lunch orders MUST be submitted into the system NO LATER than Friday, February 12. Please be sure to have your order submitted on time.  
Pre K 3&4 will have a field trip on Monday March 7.  Please do not order lunch on that day. 
The online system can be found in the Parent Portal at pmaschool.org/pmaorder.

1.26.16 Mac & Cheese Cook Off this Weekend!

Mac & Cheese Cookoff sponsored by Council #10896 of Knights of Columbus to benefit PMA’s Capital Campaign for a New Gymnasium & Arts Center 
When: This Saturday, January 30th 
Where: St. John Neumann Parish 708 Milford Road (Rt 101A) Merrimack 
Time: 7:00pm (after 5:30 Mass) 
Cost: $7 per person w/a $30 family max. 
Tickets can be purchased at the door. 
There are a number of PMA Families in the Cook-Off so come taste all of our Mac & Cheese Samples and vote for your favorite dish. Invite family and friends to attend and come have some fun at our event for PMA!!

1.13.2016 Softball Info & Registration Night Gr. 5-8

Registration and Information Night for Sr. Griffin Girls Softball (Gr. 6-8, Gr. 5 by tryout) will be on Thursday, January 21, at 6:30 pm in the cafeteria.  The flyer is in the shuttle and below.

1.13.2016 Mother & Son Game Night

Mother & Son Game Night will be on Friday, February 5, from 6:30 pm-8:00 pm. Tickets are required.  The form is in the shuttle and below.

1.11.2016 KOC Free Throw Contest

The Parish of the Resurrection and St. Joseph the Worker Parish in Nashua will be co-hosting their annual District Free Throw Contest on Saturday, January 16th at the Resurrection Parish Gym.
 
When: January 16, 2016 Where: Resurrection Parish Gym
Time: 9:00 a.m. – 10:30 a.m.
 
The contest is open to all boys and girls ages 9 – 14
 
The competition will be the best of 25 free-throws, with winners advancing to the State Free Throw Championship. Certificates of Participation & Trophies for the winners will be awarded after the completion of the competition.
 
Winners will advance to the State Free Throw Championship on Saturday, March 5, 2016
 
Last sign-in for the contest will be 9:15 a.m. on Saturday, January 16, 2016


1.8.2016 Spelling Bee Info

The CLASSROOM spelling bees will be Wednesday, January 20th in each of the classrooms (Grades 4-8).  Attached is a list of study words for the CLASSROOM BEE.  The classroom bee will be 28 randomly selected words from the study guide.
 
The School Spelling Bee is going to be Wednesday, January 27th at 9:00am in the Auditorium.  That list of words is confidential and may or may not contain words from the study guide.
 
Students and/or parents may use www.spellingbee.com for more information, study guides, and pronunciations.

1.7.2016 Second Chance Choir Sign-ups Grades 2-8

Mrs. Gonzalez is currently accepting new students into PMA’s Choir. If your student is interested in joining please fill out the attached form and send it into school. If you have questions you may email Mrs. Gonzalez at mgonzalez@pmaschool.org.

1.6.2016 Drama Club begins in February for Grades 5-8

PMA Drama Club will begin in February!  Attached (and in today’s shuttles) you will find the audition forms with many details about this club, including sign up/audition times, attendance policy and play information. The rehearsal dates are listed in the packet.  Rehearsal time is from 3 pm to 5 pm.   Please keep the forms and bring them with you to the auditions on February 10.

Battle of the Books officially begins this week!

Do you love to read? Do you wish you had more time to read fun, interesting books, and spend time discussing them with friends? If you answered “YES” to any of these questions, please join us on Thursdays, from 2:45-3:30. This week, we will be meeting in the library.

Pick up will be in the back car line area. Please do not pull into the circle until you see your student exit the building.
