JUNIOR HIGH CURRICULUM OVERVIEW (Grades 6-8)

The following subjects are departmentalized: religion, literature, language arts (including grammar, writing, spelling, and vocabulary), Spanish, math, science, and social studies. All Junior High students meet for computer science, library skills, music, art, and physical education on a weekly basis. We utilize a block schedule Tuesday-Friday.   This allows teachers to build closer bonds with students and get to know their individual learning needs more deeply. Students also receive a study period twice a week.
