The Presentation of Mary Academy Annual Fund

Your gifts to the Annual Fund provide vital support that enables Presentation of Mary to fulfill its mission of providing an excellent Catholic education to all of our students.

As tuition covers only 78% of the cost of educating each student; the Annual Fund helps meet our academic and co-curricular programming costs by supplementing our operating budget.

Unrestricted gifts to the Annual Fund allow the Academy to continue meeting its strategic goals—including continuing to enhance the student educational experience, maintaining competitive salaries for our talented faculty and staff, and improving our building needs at the school—while also providing a potential tax benefit for donors.

The school encourages donors to participate by contributing according to their personal financial capability. Every gift, no matter the size, makes a difference. For more information on the Annual Fund, please contact Donna DesRusseaux in our Business Office at 603-889-6054 opt 4 or by email at ddesruisseaux@pmaschool.org.

Donate Appreciated Stock

Donations of appreciated securities are recorded as a charitable gift at the appreciated amount. In most cases, the donor will receive a greater tax benefit than if the appreciated securities are sold and the cash is donated. Also, by donating appreciated securities, you can avoid recording a capital gain in the security (assuming the investment has appreciated and that you have held the asset for more than one year). If you would like to donate securities, you can initiate the transfer through your broker and have him/her contact Donna DesRuisseaux at 603-889-6054 opt 4 or ddesruisseaux@pmaschool.org.

PMA Angel Fund

There are PMA children and families who may need a bit of extra support. Their extended PMA family is willing to lend a hand with our PMA Angel Fund. As unexpected hardships may arise, our hope is to have resources available to distribute as needed. All participation and donations are kept confidential. No names or needs will ever be discussed with any member of the school community. We continue to rally together as a school family to put the principles of our faith into action.

Corporate Matching Funds

Many organizations and employers offer corporate matching programs on charitable gifts made by their employees, thus encouraging philanthropic endeavors of their employees. In this way, corporate matching programs allow gifts to the Presentation of Mary Academy to have double the impact. Be sure to check with your employer to see if your gifts to the Academy are eligible for corporate matching contributions.

Annual Dinner & Auction

The Annual Dinner Auction is the largest fundraising event of the year and the sole development initiative for the school’s building project fund. All auction proceeds are used for building improvements that benefit our student body. Have an idea for the auction? Contact Tracie Dumont at tdumont@pmaschool.org.

The Therese Dupuis  Godparent Program

The Godparent Fund was established to provide assistance for families who might not otherwise be able to afford the Presentation of Mary Academy’s unique education. The Godparent Program is the primary appeal for the Financial Assistance Fund, which provides generous support to a diverse student body. Gifts made to the Academy in the name of the Godparent Program benefit a child’s education directly. Therese Dupuis, class of 1946, has been dedicated to making sure children of all economic backgrounds receive the Catholic education they so desire.

Endowment Fund

The Endowment is composed of permanent and temporarily restricted funds. The funds are provided by donors with the intent that they exist in perpetuity and that a portion of the total return on invested funds be expended in support of the operating budget and the mission of the Academy. Endowment gifts may be unrestricted or restricted for specific purposes such as financial aid, faculty professional development, technology, campus renewal, or other recurring costs.

Making a gift to PMA can be as simple as writing a check or using PayPal via our "Donate Now!" button.
